Services

We provide CARB Clean Truck Check compliance services, including CC40 automatic testing devices for eligible OBD vehicles and on-site mobile testing. Eligibility depends on your vehicle's engine year, weight, and diagnostic connection.

Compliance responsibility

We assist with testing and can help with CTC-VIS registration and related tasks. However, vehicle owners remain responsible for their CTC-VIS account information, compliance fees, testing deadlines, vehicle registration, and overall compliance with CARB requirements. We do not guarantee a passing test result; a vehicle must be mechanically ready to pass.

Pricing

Pricing shown on this site is current and subject to change. The CC40 standard annual price is $299.99 per eligible vehicle. A promotional annual price of $259 per eligible vehicle is currently available and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice. Mobile testing pricing is as shown and subject to routing and scheduling availability.

CC40 rate at enrollment, renewals, and rate changes

Your rate during a paid term. The annual rate in effect for a vehicle when that vehicle is enrolled applies to that vehicle for the annual service term you have paid for. We do not increase the rate for a vehicle during a term for which payment has already been received.

Continuing rate lock — vehicles enrolled at the $259 promotional rate. This continuing rate lock is limited to vehicles enrolled at the $259 annual promotional rate during the period that rate is offered. A vehicle enrolled at $259 during that period keeps the $259 annual rate for as long as service for that vehicle continues without interruption. The lock applies per vehicle, not per account, and it survives replacement of a device and transfer of the vehicle to a new owner where service continues without a gap. The lock ends if service for that vehicle is cancelled, lapses for non-payment, or is otherwise interrupted; if service is later restarted, the vehicle enrolls at the rate then in effect.

This continuing lock does not extend to later rates. The continuing rate lock described above applies only to the $259 promotional rate. Once the $259 promotional rate is no longer offered, it is not available to new enrollments. Any annual rate offered afterward — whether a standard rate, a later promotional rate, or a quoted fleet rate — does not carry a continuing rate lock unless we state so in writing for that specific rate.

Renewals and future rate changes. Except for vehicles covered by the continuing rate lock above, the annual rate is not guaranteed beyond the current paid term. We may change the annual rate that applies to any subsequent term, at our discretion and for any reason. If the rate for your renewal will change, we will notify you at the email address on your account at least 30 days before the renewal date. If you do not want to renew at the new rate, you may cancel before the renewal date. Continuing service past the renewal date after that notice means you accept the new rate for the coming term.

Vehicles added later. Vehicles added to an existing account enroll at the rate in effect on the date that vehicle is added, including on accounts that have other vehicles at a locked promotional rate.
