You already give this program enough money and time. You shouldn't also pull rigs off a job to drive them to a shop. A credentialed tester comes to your yard, terminal, or job site and tests them where they sit — a single tractor or a whole construction fleet, in one visit.
Not sure what's due? Call the owner. Bring your list and we'll tell you what each truck needs — and work around your schedule, not ours.
That light is not a general warning — it is the malfunction indicator lamp, and it exists specifically to report emissions faults. When it is on, the truck’s computer is already saying an emissions system has a problem, and a Clean Truck Check test reads exactly that. There is no way to pass around it.
The same is true with a CC40 installed. The device does not repair anything — it reports what the truck reports.
Call before you book. We would rather tell you to get it repaired first than take your money for a test that cannot pass. Stored codes and incomplete readiness monitors will stop a pass too, and a recent battery disconnect can reset monitors — the truck usually needs some drive time before it is ready.
Give us VINs, plates, and your location. We confirm which trucks are due and which test method each one needs.
We schedule around your operation — before dispatch, after the last run, or whenever the trucks are actually parked.
Testing is completed and submitted at your location. Retesting is included under our standard service policy. See what each result means.
Right now most OBD trucks test twice a year. Starting October 2027, CARB moves eligible OBD vehicles to quarterly testing — four times a year instead of two. That's more deadlines to track and more chances to fall behind.
Mobile testing doesn't change with the schedule. However often your trucks are due, we bring the test to your yard — so more frequent testing never means more trips to a shop or more downtime for your fleet.
Set up recurring testing · 530-378-9111Most fleets are a mix — newer tractors next to a 2010 dump truck. One provider can handle eligible OBD vehicles and non-OBD vehicles in the same fleet visit — one company, one invoice, one thing off your plate.
OBD testing at your location. OVI smoke & visual for older vehicles starts at $250.
Today, mobile testing may cost less. When quarterly testing begins in October 2027, the CC40 can cost less per year — regardless of fleet size. It also removes the scheduling entirely — the device handles testing in the background and submits eligible results to CARB. Call and we'll work out which trucks should be on the device and which stay on mobile.
OVI smoke & visual testing for 2012-and-older diesel starts at $250. Retesting included under our standard service policy. Pricing current and subject to change.
More than 20 years in automotive repair, smog, emissions, and fleet service — and the person who answers when you call. No call center, no runaround.
Trucks stay in your yard. Testing happens between runs instead of replacing them.
No shop appointments, no driver hours burned sitting in a testing line across town.
You get told what passed, what didn't, and what to do about it. In plain language.
Retesting is included under our standard service policy, so a second pass is already accounted for.
Northern and Southern California. If your trucks are parked in this state, we can get to them.
4,000+ tests and a credentialed tester who knows how the program actually runs day to day.
California statewide service, subject to routing and scheduling availability, with bilingual support for cross-border fleets. Freight yard, construction site, equipment lot, or a single truck at the shop — wherever your diesels are parked in the state, reach out and we'll work out coverage.
A little prep keeps the visit quick and avoids a wasted trip. Have the truck accessible, batteries charged, and fuel available, with emissions equipment intact. For OBD vehicles, an unresolved check-engine light, incomplete readiness monitors, or a recent battery disconnection may prevent a passing result. Not sure if a truck is ready? Call us and we'll talk it through before we head out.
Tell us what you're running — years, VINs, how many. We'll tell you what's due, which trucks the CC40 could take off your plate for good, and set a time. No obligation, no pressure.
